About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to input, update, and maintain accurate information in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate has fast and accurate typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with large amounts of data while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Retrieve data from documents, forms, and other sources.
- Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
- Generate reports and perform basic data queries as needed.
- Assist with scanning, filing, and organizing documents (physical and electronic).
- Follow data confidentiality and security policies.
- Work with team members to resolve discrepancies or data-related questions.
- Perform additional administrative or clerical tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (recommended: 45+ WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and data entry tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Familiarity with database software or CRM systems is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
