Position Summary

The Paralegal will assist attorneys with case preparation, document drafting, research, and client communication. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role is a key contributor to our legal team and will work closely with attorneys across various practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal and factual research and prepare summaries or reports.
• Manage case files, maintain document management systems, and ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, discovery requests, and deposition summaries.
• Communicate with clients, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel professionally and promptly.
• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Calendar and monitor key deadlines, hearings, and court dates.
• Support general administrative tasks related to case management and office operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent paralegal training required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of paralegal experience (law firm experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formats.
• Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
